Marvin Nichols Reservoir

As a result of statewide water planning, the Marvin Nichols Reservoir was listed as a potential water source worthy of further study. This potential reservoir would yield approximately 800,000,000 gallons of water per day and occupy over 62,000 acres. MTG along with its partner, Freese and Nichols, is working for the Sulphur River Basin Authority to provide further studies to assess the reservoir's suitability for permitting. Wetlands, habitat, surveying, hydraulics and economic analysis are study components for the planning phase.
