Texas Commission of Environmental Quality - Clow Road Landfill Remediation (permit/construction)

When TCEQ required help to close an abandoned landfill, they turned to MTG to provide civil and environmental closure designs. This landfill situated in suburban Harris County was located adjacent to neighborhoods, while generating large amounts of methane. Designs and specifications for closure construction were prepared and subsequent monitoring during construction was provided. Landfill cap, methane venting and slurry walls were key design components.
