TxDOT and MTG

It is MTG’s desire that any TxDOT office consider MTG as an extension of their staff much like an area office or special design team. We understand that different Districts as well as different area offices have various preferences of presentation and methodologies. MTG is flexible and desires to fulfill your needs in a fashion that is familiar and comfortable for you.

MTG staff has numerous years of TxDOT design experience on projects ranging from routine maintenance contracts to complex new-location urban freeways. Additionally, having staff that has “been there and done that” from the TxDOT perspective provides unique knowledge, skill and abilities to fulfill your needs in consultant services.

As evidenced through the number of precertified categories, MTG has a well-rounded and experienced staff. Additionally, our staff knows the TxDOT way as various staff members have held past positions at TxDOT in the area office level such as Area Engineer, Design Engineer and party chief and at the District level such as Design Engineer and District Design Engineer. This gives us unique insight and understanding and better prepares us to efficiently and effectively serve your needs.

MTG has also provided engineering services for numerous other counties and city governments in Texas. This insight into their operations also provides an advantage to TxDOT in working with the local government in the development of projects.

Given the opportunity, MTG is committed to providing quality engineering services for your transportation project. We believe that we can add you to our list of satisfied clients.
