Transportation Systems Engineering

Transportation system design has been a specialty of MTG for many years. Our clients include the federal government, Texas Department of Transportation, Arkansas Department of Highways and Transportation and numerous counties and municipalities. We have the expertise to provide analysis and planning services, design and construction oversight for all types of rehabilitation, reconstruction and new location transportation projects. Some examples of our projects include: • Clear Springs Road for Bowie County, Texas. Bowie County rehabilitated this roadway utilizing it’s own forces and equipment. MTG provided the engineering design and construction oversight to ensure that the project met or exceeded all design standards and would perform to meet the needs of the traveling public. • Kelly Lane construction for Bowie County, Texas. This project provided for the construction of a new location county road to provide a connection between an existing Interstate frontage road and a Farm to Market road. Since a portion of this roadway was constructed on Interstate ROW, coordination with TxDOT and the FHWA was required. • Cowhorn Creek Road for the City of Texarkana, Texas. This project involved the construction of a new location urban street adjacent to a rapidly growing area of North Texarkana. Full design services and construction oversight was provided by MTG.
