Environmental engineering, as well as general civil engineering, more specifically including computer aided engineering (CAE) and geographic information system (GIS) use for the following: • Horizontal/vertical alignment, as well as structural / geotechnical design in support of transportation systems such as city streets, rural roadways, small to medium highways, and railway systems; • Design of storm water management systems such as drainage channels, culverts, and detention basins; • Municipal water treatment, storage, pumping and infrastructure systems; • Municipal waste water treatment, equalization, pumping, and infrastructure systems; • Industrial waste water treatability, treatment, and pumping systems; • Municipal/Industrial landfill systems siting, design, permitting, construction, and quality assurance/control; and • Environmental remediation investigation, design, permitting, construction and quality assurance/control. Experienced in coordinating, interpreting, and applying geotechnical investigations associated with all of the aforementioned. Also experienced in the application, permitting, and reporting requirements for state and/or federally funded projects.
