Field Services

Realizing that a client’s primary contact with MTG often occurs in the field, our commitment to total client satisfaction doesn’t end at the office. MTG field services personnel are trained professionals, equipped for support in a wide variety of field service activities. MTG field services personnel are cross-trained in multiple disciplines including radiation safety, OSHA Hazardous Materials Safety, field data collection/reduction, ground and surface water sampling, and construction materials quality control.

MTG field services personnel can be equipped with any combination of field survey, construction materials quality control and environmental monitoring equipment. This can include advanced electronic total stations, automated data collector/recorders, precision auto-levels, a full complement of material quality control equipment, state-of-the-art groundwater monitoring equipment, advanced FM and cellular communications equipment, and all terrain vehicles.

Using advanced electronic equipment for field observations; data obtained in the field can be transferred directly to MTG’s CAE systems for automated reduction and analysis. This allows MTG design and land planning professionals to immediately work with field data that may have been recorded only hours earlier.

During project construction, engineered designs can be downloaded from MTG’s CAE systems to the electronic field equipment for use in construction staking and quality assurance and control. In this way, our field services personnel are fully equipped to address all project design data, layout references and quality control information with maximum speed and accuracy.

The net result of MTG’s innovative methodology for accomplishment of field services is cost-conscious delivery of services with an emphasis on timeliness and accuracy.
